Ideas for Intentionality 14/52: ✨ The Most Powerful Free Tool, Spring Essentials, and The Value of a Mother’s Hidden Work

by Taylor Barrett

Happy Friday,

I am sad to say that I tend to smile the least at the people I love the most.

I am working on it, because of this quote:

“A smile says: I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you!”

– Dale Carnegie

Our kids do need to be reminded that we like them, that they make us happy and that we are glad to see them. But also, our husbands!

It is so easy to take these loved ones for granted, but a smile is so easy to share. It costs nothing, but creates much!

IDEAS FOR INTENTIONALITY:

Everylife Diapers: It’s been nice to not run out of diapers or have to run to the store just for diapers. Ya know how it goes, ya go to the store for one thing and end up with a buggy full. I have loved these clean, pro-life diapers that come to my door.

* Use LANA10 for 10% off your first order!

Magnesium Tallow Balm: Toups & Cos new Magnesium Tallow Balm has been so nice to put on at night – it would be great for pregnancy and leg cramps too!

Electrolytes + Minerals + Creatine: With warmer weather, it’s important to keep myself hydrated, especially as I am postpartum! I put a scoop of this in a mason jar with a shaker ball and then add a couple of drops of mineral drops + one scoop of creatine. There are sooo many benefits of Creatine for cognitive function (AND I need that bad in postpartum haha). I use this Creatine and GIRLTEACHME10 gives you a discount on creatine and electrolytes.

Easy Whipped Cream Recipe for Strawberry Season: This3 ingredient recipe is such a crowd pleaser, and it comes together in 10 minutes or less without all the crazy ingredients of the store-bought brands.

Staple Book for Spring: I LOVE this book, I have read it multiple times. It’s all about a holistic life with our families and it talks a lot about the importance of getting outside for our health.

NEW ON YOUTUBE

How Valuable a Mother’s Work is (in a culture that doesn’t value children) – No one sees you when you are flipping laundry, up in the night doing feeds or caring for sick kids. The world doesn’t pat you on the back and you certainly aren’t getting paid for the work you do at home. So without the accolades, human praise or thanks at time how do we remember how vital and important our work is as moms? Let’s talk about that today!

Watching and listening to other people’s birth stories can give us a better vision of what birth can look like for us!
