Ideas for Intentionality 1/52: Hopes to change, why we are sick, and when we feel powerless…

by Lana Sullivan

Happy New Year!

I know you have hopes in your heart for how things could change this year for you. May this quote be an encouragement to us both:

“When we are powerless to do a thing, it is a great joy that we can come and step inside the ability of Jesus”
-Corrie ten Boom

Let us step inside His ability this year! We all know our flesh can and will fail, but with Jesus, things can change!

The Friday Ideas for Intentionality is now officially 1 year old!

Yep, I started this Friday email one year ago. Let’s go for year 2!

Here are my ideas/favorites to keep you intentional this week:

Ideas for Intentionality:

What I Am Reading: Wow, this book is still blowing me away and has helped me finally understand WHY people are so sick these days! One chapter is cray cray, just warning ya, but the rest is gold!

Podcast: Ok! This isn’t for little ears and was filmed before the election, but I listened to all 3 hours while I walked this cold week and learned sooo much! Apple Link and Spotify Link

Calendar Pad: This is on the way and I have high hopes about how nice it will be to sit down with on Sunday nights and see the week at a glance.

Gifts I Received and Enjoy: Got some lemon bone broth powder and protein powder from my MIL. Practical and yummy-she knows me! The picture of the week is from her pantry! (at bottom of email) This woman loves some Just Ingredients products!

What I Bought Myself: I told Matt that Santa brought me these haha! Loving them so far!

Sending love,

Lana

P.S. Here is a video to help you have the courage to dream again, even as a mom!

Pregnant P.S. Sleeping is no joke when you are pregnant. My favorite sleeping pillow was this tiny unassuming little wedge. It made all the difference under my belly! Hope it is a help to all you pregnant mamas!

Happy Friday, One quick habit tip I have been using for tasks that I have some friction around is this: make it FUN! This is an Atomic Habit principle, but let me give you some examples of how I am using it. The principle is that the fun helps form the habits, but after a…
