Happy Friday!
I woke up this morning humming this song. It was written in 2020 when the world was crazy and I think it was no mistake that it came back to my heart and mind with the weight of what is happening in the world this week.
“Cause even in the madness, there is peace
Drowning out the voices all around me
Through all of this chaos
You were writing a symphony, a symphony”
It can be tempting when things feel crazy to numb out or double down on our news intake, but plugging into the Person of Peace in Jesus is what is going to keep us from despair.
There is a lot of brokenness in the world, but taking heart that God still rules and reigns (and wins in the end) gives me so much comfort.

Here are my Ideas for Intentionality this week in your very important role as a mama:
IDEAS FOR INTENTIONALITY
Watercolor Goodies: If your kids (or you) enjoy doing watercolor, there is a handy little tool that blocks the colors and keeps a space white. Just a little watecolor hack I learned in my homeschool co-op last year. And adding fine tip black pens and fine tip white pens can bring an image into focus and add details too.
Pregnancy Sleep Pillow: I don’t go for the huge pillows, but I do love this handy little wedge to place behind my back or belly to give some relief to my shoulder and support my belly.
Sandpaper Numbers: If you are teaching some little ones their numbers and letters, adding in sandpaper tracing is soooo helpful to give that extra tactile learning a chance. We all learn differently and sometimes we just need to layer in some different styles of learning. They are quality little tools.
Yoto Charging Station: Yotos are a big deal in my house, so are amber book lights and bunk bed fans. That all requires a lot of charging haha, so I created a little basket with this charging station for all the USB charging needs. It has been such a help to keep their favorite little items ready to go!

- This handy little book called The Dip is so valuable if you are wondering why some of your pursuits are so hard and you’re not making the progress you had hoped (spoiler: the dip is your friend, you just have to understand the dip).

- Want to understand Heaven more (and not just people’s experience with near death experiences, but rather a breakdown of what the Bible says as a whole about heaven). Glory Now Revealed has been interesting! I learned that we will actually remember what happened in our lives when we are in heaven. He gives sooo many examples of this and why it will be essential for us to remember our lives in order to give God the full glory He deserves in heaven.
