About right now, I am feeling the relief that commitments are winding down AND the stress that Amazon deliveries may or may not get here on time. 😆🙃
Personally, I am so glad I did Christmas prep starting in October (thank you Christmas of Deb), BUT of course, I am still scrambling around. The pressure can be high to give our kids the best Christmas ever, but then I was reminded of a comforting yet convicting idea.
Our kids come into this world wanting to have as much attention from us as possible, because they desire to have the best relationship with us as possible.
This thought can take the pressure off us to perform for them and just tune in and connect instead.
People remember most how we make them feel, and I think that is my goal for the rest of this season. To focus my heart on Jesus and help my people feel delighted in.
