Ideas for Intentionality 42/52: Pee Pants, Restocking Favs, and Ugly Glasses

by Lana Sullivan

Happy Friday!

I was talking to a friend the other day about his mother who had passed away two years ago. He got a bit misty-eyed. He told me how incredible of a woman she was, but one thing he shared really struck me…

He said she never left the house without her purse in one hand and her Bible tucked under her arm.

He said she carried it everywhere she went.

Wow! That a son could remember such a beautiful testimony about his mother.

She really loved God’s word!

This was a challenge to me, how can I love God’s word more and rely on it more?

Food for thought this week, dear friends. Wouldn’t it be incredible if our kids remembered something like this about us one day? It isn’t too late, we can start today on our legacy with our children.

It is ordering week here at my house, lots of little things we have ran out of that we use all the time.

I love to purchase these items intentionally because I KNOW they get used + what’s new here at Girl, Teach Me this week:

Ideas for Intentionality

New YouTube Video Today: Calling all your tired mamas! Want some more energy to get going? Sharing 7 Tips for the Exhausted Mama today! If you go watch, add a comment sharing your best tips to get going when you are struggling for energy to help another mama out. 🙌

Prettier Cleaning Tool: I love these Amber Spray Bottles to clean with. I am grabbing a new set for the little gym my husband started downstairs and then added Force of Nature (like disinfectant) to the bottle to clean the mats between classes. He is two weeks into the gym and it is going so great! 🥳

Diaper Detergent: Ok, so I have been using EveryLife diapers and I still am (I love everything about them!), but to save a little extra money I got back out my old cloth diapers to use a couple of times a week. I have used my cloth diapers on and off for the last 10 years, but let me tell you, this detergent is a must to help get the stink out of the diapers, but is also great if you have any kiddos peeing in pants or on bedsheets.

Restocking Cleaning Concentrate: I really like this concentrate for laundry and cleaning solutions and have been using it for well over a year. It goes a LONG way and I love how clean and multipurpose it is.

Here is $10 off your first order.

Protein Powder Restock: I am grabbing Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein to use in our banana swirl smoothie (raw milk, frozen bananas, and protein powder) and the Vanilla for protein bites that are great Christmas gifts to give in tins. GIRLTEACHME10 gets you 10% off your whole purchase.

Better Sleep Glasses: grabbing another pair of blue light-blocking glasses, because you know how it goes when you have kids (found my last pair outside and scratched to death 😆) but wearing these before bed does help me sleep better, especially if I do computer work before bed. Now they aren’t too cute so my husband will be making fun of me haha. But, I will take my chances for better sleep and a good price 😂

Family Fall Picture Boots: Finally, I got all the kids’ feet measured and placing the order tonight for these boots. They are seriously the sweetest little boots and indestructible quality with a little TLC, they are good to go year after year. I get these for most of the kids, these for my husband and my oldest son, and grabbing these for my 1-year-old.

Sending love,

Lana

P.S. Planning a couple’s getaway and willing to be one of the first to try a project my husband and I are working on? Hit reply and I will send you the details 😘🙌

Pregnant P.S. A must-read for any pregnant mama is this book. Can’t recommend it enough!
