Happy Friday!
I had my baby!
On Tuesday, one of my sons said that his “win” was that the baby was going to come early…. That was the first I was hearing of that! But 3 days later, on Friday, I delivered our 6th baby 2 weeks early, Asa Theodore. It’s a boy!!
I’ve never gone into labor not knowing what I was going to name the baby, but this time was different. We prayed and landed on Asa Theodore. Asa, after King Asa in 2 Chronicles 15-16 who was known for bringing Israel back to social morality and worship of God. And Theodore, after President Roosevelt who is called “The Old Lion”.
This labor was far more intense than any of my other labors, but it was also faster than any of my other labors. Whether labor is fast and furious or long and drawn out, the reward at the end is worth it all a hundred times over.
I will be sharing my birth story on YouTube soon, so keep an eye out for that! But until then, I can’t imagine a sweeter Christmas gift than this addition to our family.

LABOR WITHOUT FEAR
