Ideas for Intentionality 47/52: Sharing My Heart, NEW Course with Margaret Matheny, and Cozy Soup Recipe!

by Lana Sullivan

Happy Friday!

This might be a different Christmas for some. My husband (a finance geek) shared with me that the average American has 37K in credit card debt right now and that, for some, financial stress is at an all-time high. This is heartbreaking and heavy rolling into Christmas!

My goal with this email has always been to be a little weekly nudge for us to be as intentional as possible as women, wives, and mothers. And I love sharing the music, books, ideas, and items that help me stay intentional, in hopes that they may do the same for you!

And yet it’s tricky because I never want to feed into the worldly idea that the next item is finally going to make us happy, or that intentionality is wrapped up in stuff.

Just know that I am trying to tread carefully and make this weekly email as helpful, encouraging, and thought-provoking as possible. That is my heart!

And yes, I will continue to share favorites that may serve you well, but just know that I will always share free items and ideas that anyone can pick up and implement, no matter the financial season you may be in.

If you are in the category of financially stressed, I am sending love your way! I remember being in 80K student debt with 3 littles, so I know the weight can feel heavy.

I am always an email away, it might take me a week or so to respond, but I read every one of your responses and love to connect and pray!

Now that you have heard my heart, here are my Ideas for Intentionality for you this week 🩷

Ideas for Intentionality:

NEW Christmas YouTube Videos: I have put up 2 newer videos and 1 more coming soon that can help you in this Christmas season. 1. Keeping Christmas All About Christ (coming soon!) 2. Natural Inexpensive Christmas Decor 3. Thoughtful Inexpensive Gifts

NEW Course with Margaret Matheny: We teamed up to create a mini course that will help you Take Back Your Home. Proverbs 14:1 says, “A wise woman builds her home, but with her hands, a foolish one tears it down.” I have certainly been that foolish woman in my life, and yet I want to shout from the rooftops that we can take back our home for the sake of all we love. Take back the environment, the clutter, and how we interact with those in our homes. This super affordable course will be one you can come back to time and time again!

Cozy Soup Recipe: I went to my friend Sarah’s house and ate this soup and WOW! It is beyond yummy!

Another Simmer Pot Recipe: I did grapefruit, oranges, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and cranberries on a low boil for hours on end and WOW, it was such a yummy smell!

Winter Craft Book: I can’t recommend this Wild and Free Craft Book enough! The pictures are beautiful and there are so many ideas for projects to do with your kiddos during the Christmas season. I also have this one where I learned to make the big paper stars that were in my Natural Christmas Decor video.

Sending love,

Lana

P.S. This is a sweet Children’s Christmas book that you may want to add to your collection!

Pregnant P.S. Have a pregnant mama in your life who wants to go natural, but is feeling a little nervous about the whole thing? Consider pointing her in the direction of this birth course, Labor Without Fear, or even gifting her the course as a baby shower or Christmas gift. Birth is such a big moment in our lives as women, that is why I am so passionate about empowering women to trust their bodies and babies to do their thing.

Happy Friday, The thing I can’t get out of my head this week is this: Our limits CAN bring soooo much glory to God.  God is INFINITE and that is a good thing. We are LIMITED and that is also a good thing. I guess I was accidentally believing the lie that I had to…
