Happy Friday!
I had it on my heart to do a big batch cooking day and freeze a bunch of meals.
Little did I know that a hard season was about to hit with 3 funerals and unexpected traveling.
My heart and emotions were wrung out like a rag. I was so thankful to have that food put away in the freezer.
This season reminded me a little of how a farmer puts up a harvest when the weather is good and the food is plentiful.
I think the nugget I want to share is if you feel good, you just got paid, and everyone is well, consider double batching some meat or soup and stashing some away to bless yourself in the future!
We never know what tomorrow holds, but we can do a little here and there to bless our future self in those hard moments!
Ideas for Intentionality:
Souper Cubes: My wonderful MIL just got me 5 more of these and they are a game changer! They are “souper” handy (haha I couldn’t resist!)
Batch Cooking Video: Here is a video showing you how I made 6 batches of seriously easy sourdough buns (thanks to my MIL for the recipe), bags of meat marinades, crock pot meals, etc. And here is the post with all the recipes I used that are worth sharing!
All the Recipes from the Big Batch Day: Some of the recipes are my friends’ and some are my own, but I know you will find some winners in this blog post to make the “what’s for dinner?” question a little easier this coming week.
Essential Kitchen Funnel: How did I get soup in my ½ gallon masons before? I did it, but wow was it messy! This cheap funnel helps so much!
Bone Broth on the Go: I am trying to drop my second cup of coffee each day by sipping on this powdered broth. I have the Lemon Herb one now, but I really love the Tomato one too! GIRLTEACHME10 gets you 10% off
What else am I working on?

P.S. My husband is reading this to help get on the same page with me about homeschool, etc. Have you read it?
Pregnant P.S. One of my top pregnancy wardrobe tips is to consider buying tops and dresses that you can also breastfeed in. It will help your closet transition to postpartum without a bunch of new clothes. Here are more of my top pregnancy clothing tips.
