Happy Friday!
They tore my kitchen floor out from the dishwasher flood we had, so I can see my laundry room that is in the basement as I wash dishes haha.
Sounds dramatic, but I can actually use my kitchen with the subfloor that is left. It isn’t pretty (especially when crumbs fall all through the cracks of the kitchen into the laundry room haha), but I can use it! So thankful for that!
And can you believe we are almost exactly midway through the year? That is why I name the email the # week out of the 52 weeks a year. It helps to see the time slip away to give a sense of urgency to stay present and to be ALL here in these moments.
I hope you are enjoying these HOT summer days! I have included some of my favorite summer items and hacks below to maximize the fun.
Ideas for Intentionality:
NEW Prenatals: New launch of Just Ingredients pre-natal without any synthetic folate + choline (which is normally low or missing in prenatals), an Iron Supplement and a DHA omega-3 that isn’t fishy! All these are wonderful to take while pregnant and even while breastfeeding, and they are all on sale this week. Here is the pack with all three in case you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Cotton/Linen Pieces for Summer: the new June Collection goes live for Neuflora next week on the 25th. I have been enjoying the couple of pieces I grabbed last time. I returned one piece and have some store credit that I am planning to use to grab something from this next launch (their return process is the smoothest I have seen). There are still some items in stock that I think are so cute: Frisco Dress, Sonoma Skirt – Brown Gingham (got this last launch and it is perfectly thin for summer), and the Layton Top. All these items are 100% cotton which I love for summer!

Workout Buddy: I have so enjoyed this portable little clock for working out. You can set it on all kinds of timers, it is magnetic and will attach to anything metal and is rechargeable. I love doing the setting where I work hard for one minute and then switch exercises (EMOM-every minute on the minute). This handy gadget makes it easier.
2 of my Fav Pool Hacks: Two of my favorite things to take to the pool are a big wet bag AND a reusable baby swim diaper. I learned both of these from using cloth diapers. After we change from the pool, all the wet stuff goes into the wet bag and is laid out to dry when we get home. And the reusable baby diaper saves so much money + the last time my baby had to use a regular swim diaper she broke out so bad.
Romper Obsession: I have always enjoyed a good romper. THIS one has been gold the past couple of months. I dressed it up and down for my weekend away at the Biltmore recently just by changing the jewelry and the shoes. It feels so good and light AND is great for breastfeeding!
Reusable Magnetic Water Balloons: My 18 month old could sit all day filling these up and popping them! They are great at the pool, but also are great in the bathtub for littles or in a little water table. Seriously endless fun!
Watertable Pump: My neighbor has the best eye for kids fun and she got one of these pumps for her watertable. Every morning my kids are asking when they can run over to their house and play in the water. It has been a sweet time this summer!

Have you ever written out a whole book of the Bible? I show you some tips for writing out the Word in this blog post. I have done it 4 different times and every time I learn so much!

Sending love,
Lana
P.S.
What is your favorite music for hanging out while the kids splash around? My neighbor and I have really been enjoying Forest Frank! I love his song Ups and Downs. And the kids love all his music too!
Pregnant P.S.
I love this quote from Elisabeth Elliot about a mother:
“A mother is a chalice, the vessel without which no human being has ever been born. She is created to be a life-bearer, cooperating with her husband and with God in the making of a child. What a solemn responsibility. What an unspeakable privilege—a vessel divinely prepared for the Master’s use.”
If you have the gift of being pregnant right now I pray that this quote gives you even more gratitude and awe.
