Happy Friday!
I had a cleaning epiphany the other day that I think can make a BIG difference for you!
Some days I just don’t have it. I don’t have the ump, the drive, or the energy. Yes to doing the next right thing, but sometimes the next right thing is to just hold the line.
We don’t always have to make massive forward action every day, sometimes being faithful is just holding the line and not going backwards.
THEN one day we wake up and have a huge burst of energy, and we can slay on that closet or even just catch up on the laundry that is piling up.
But as women with hormones that cycle, sickness in the house, or just living in sleep-deprived seasons, holding the line on those low days is HUGE!
If you don’t have tons of pep in your step today, no shame!
Your body is not made to slay every day. Hold the line and be faithful as you can today-keep the connection alive with your kids and keep it simple.
Ideas for Intentionality:
Care for Exhaustion: These adrenal supplements have been a help as well as drinking one or two servings of the electrolytes with these mineral drops. Minerals HELP sooo much!
Light Swaps for Better Sleep: Sleep is the foundation of our health, but the light in our home can be tricking our brains that it is noon when it is 10pm. I swapped to these light bulbs and started using beeswax candles in the evening. We are ALL sleeping better!
Hard Day Video: Come with me as I try to turn a hard day around. I felt like I was walking through mud on this day, but with a couple of small shifts I held the line that day. Let’s turn our day around together!
Make Dinner After Breakfast: This is my best hack for those super hard days. The hardest meal and all the clean-up could be done EARLY. This is the cookbook I like to refer to for super-simple recipes that help us feel good.
Timer/Baby Carrier Magic: Consider doing a 10-15 minute timer while baby wearing on the one thing you have been avoiding the most. Just making progress can feel so good! This baby carrier feels the best on my back.
What else am I working on?
Got to go on our church’s podcast with my husband a couple of weeks ago and share our story. Not a story we love having, but if it can be an encouragement to anyone with debt, we are glad to share!

Video of the Week:

Talking about mom rage and how to stop being an angry mom. This video isn’t to shame anyone at all, but rather as a help and encouragement for any of you who struggle with anger as a mama.
