Happy Friday!
Piggy-backing on last week’s email about combating overwhelm by sharing two of my favorite sayings from Elisabeth Elliot that minister to me in overstimulating and overwhelming moments:
1. “Do the next right thing.”
2. “Do a doable portion.”
These are sayings that I repeat over and over to myself as I do a 10 minute timer on dishes or while I get my real clothes on to feel like a human again. Slowly but surely, I slide out of the funk and get some wind in my sails.
Praying the same will happen for you as you aim to be faithful today!
Ideas for Intentionality:
Shaker Bottles: I used to like this to stir up electrolytes, but now I just really like this shaker bottle. Also, I like having some extra shaker balls on hand so I can turn other water bottles into shaker bottles too.
Electrolytes to Sub for Gatorade: My son came home from baseball and said, “Guess what? A guy on my team had electrolytes in the dug out too!” haha cracked me up! You can’t go wrong with flavors, but raspberry is my favorite! And no fake or natural flavors, they are made with literal raspberries!

Spring/Summer Dresses: This company makes small batch clothes from real linen. I have appreciated their linen pieces so much and their return process is really seamless for store-credit.

Getting Kids to Play Outside: #1 tip is to just get out there with them, #2 is to invest in some strategic things for them to do outside. We have loved this ninja set so much we bought a 2nd one.
10 Best Books that Have Helped Me in Motherhood: I recently picked up Eve in Exile again and it is on this list. If you are looking to grow as a Christian mom and woman these books have been foundational for me.
Blog of the Week
What a better time a year for a refresh than summer? I wrote this blog post with simple, small pivots you can make each day to help yourself become a healthier woman, which in turn, positively affects every aspect of life!

Video of the Week:
I made this video over a year ago but I think it can give you some fresh ideas for getting outside this spring and coming summer with your kids.

Sending love,
Lana
P.S. Need a relatively older clean movie to watch as a family (now I am doubting myself… was there any cussing?) The Secret Life of Walter Mitty was so good that we bought it, and wow, it inspires me every. single. time!
Pregnant P.S. Did you know I have a WHOLE playlist on Youtube for you? It has 21 videos you can just let play while you get a bath or do some laundry!
